Our Favorite Summer 2023 Installs
Today we’re revisiting some of our favorite installs of the summer! This season, we had so many great installs, and picking out what to include here was not an easy task. Our selection criteria included uniqueness, functionality, overall aesthetics, and more. After going through all of our featured installs, these were the ones that stood out to us the most and made our list as this summer’s best of the best.
*Disclaimer* We are extremely thankful for every install that is shared with us, and this ranking is in no way intended to look down upon those installs not ranked as highly or those that did not make the list. Rather, we wanted to highlight some amazing screened porches as a thank you to just a few of our many wonderful installers.
Honorable MentionS
Dekco Construction, KS
Skylights in a screened porch? Why not? Dekco construction shows us that they look great and allow even more natural light into this beautiful, second-story space. This screened porch includes some fun angles as well and is a fantastic first honorable mention.
The Pelkey Brothers, SC
These wide panels show what SCREENEZE is capable of! Need a space free of insects but still want to enjoy the views? Look no further for inspiration. If you’re worried about it being too open, the privacy curtains are super easy to add in while also providing some shade. The Pelkey Brothers did a great job here on their 100th SCREENEZE install!
Steve Sawin, ME
This porch has some unique openings, but that’s no worry for SCREENEZE! The install was completed by the homeowner, Steve Sawin, who was able to put up the SCREENEZE by himself. That’s the beauty of our products! We love the vibes that this space has and are super excited for them to enjoy their bug-free space.
Graber Outdoors, MO
Our final honorable mention is this unique install from Graber Outdoors. Who says that a screened porch has to be a rectangle? Certainly not us! This unique install looks incredible and makes great use of the space while not intruding too far into the yard.
Third Place
Smith Roofing, TN
Our bronze medal is awarded to Smith Roofing for this absolutely amazing screened porch. With spacious ceilings, views on all four sides, and a staircase up to the deck area, what more could this porch need? The answer: not much. Beautiful architecture and comfortable furniture round out this space and make it a cozy place to relax.
Second Place
Kayco Screens, GA
This screened porch is just a wonder to look at. With not one, not two, but eleven different panels facing outward (and a few more on the sides), this space is sure to be admired by any guests. If the sheer scale and beauty of this porch wasn’t enough, those unique shapes lock in Kayco Screens’ phenomenal, second-story install to our second place spot.
First Place
Southpaw & Company, NC
Yes, you’re seeing that correctly. Southpaw and Company built a screened porch on a dock. And not just any screened porch, but an absolutely stellar one complete with a spiral staircase leading to a deck on top.
