Our Favorite Winter Installs

With Winter coming to an end and Spring just around the corner, we figured it’s about time to share our favorite installs of the season. While we’ve seen so many outstanding SCREENEZE installs over this Winter, there were a few that particularly stuck with us as perfection. Check below to see who created the ‘Top 10’ installations of this past season, which were ranked based on project uniqueness and overall aesthetics.

Tenth Place: Stratton Exteriors, TN

This screened porch showcases bright, sunny views and a cozy space to relax in. We love this project because it feels like a dream porch, yet attainable! Those vibrant views and light accents absolutely earned this beautiful project the spot of our tenth favorite Winter install.

Ninth Place: Waterline Homes, SC

This screened porch features crisp backyard views and we’re here for it! The screened panels are perfectly complemented by the interior tile flooring, making this space a hard one to turn down. While we would have loved to have seen this project from a further distance, and perhaps without the occasional light glares, it is a picture-perfect project nonetheless. Thus, this screened porch earned its spot as our ninth favorite Winter install.

Eighth Place: Rabun Screens & Decks, GA

This screened porch has a lot of stunning aspects - from its high arched ceiling to its stunning views of the treeline. While we do wish these images were from slightly further back, the install can’t lie - this is a great screened porch. Those cozy interior seats and stellar exterior accents earned this project our eighth favorite Winter install spot.

Seventh Place: Graber Outdoors, MO

This screened porch had a spacious interior in addition to beautiful views of the surrounding nature. It’s a standard three-sided screen porch with dark accents. We think this install is the perfect place for family gatherings and certainly has appeal year-round. Although we’re picky about our screened porches, this project is fantastic, earning its spot as our seventh favorite Winter install.

Sixth Place: Open Door Renovations, TN

This screened porch included sharp views and bright wood accents. While it may be a fairly standard screened porch in style, it’s done exceptionally well and we love seeing the project from so many perspectives. We do wish we could’ve seen this project from a slightly farther-away view, but even up-close it’s evident that this is a terrific installation, earning its spot as our sixth favorite Winter installation.

Fifth Place: J Squared Builders LLC, MI

This screened porch has such crystal-clear views, we had to do a double-take to make sure a screen was actually in place (spoiler alert: it’s there)! While this space is a traditional three-sided screened porch, it has wonderful aesthetics and functionality, earning it’s spot as our fifth favorite install of the Winter season.

Fourth Place: Brawner Renovations, GA

This screened porch is beautiful but the entire outdoor space is truly sensational! From the outdoor firepit, to the bountiful seating, to the quiet screened porch, we can’t think of a better place to relax. In all honesty, this space scored fourth place merely because we felt like this was so much more a Spring/Summer #1 than a Winter #1. Regardless, a stunning installation!

Third Place: LMT Construction LLC, TN

This screened porch is giving a very comfy, relaxing atmosphere and we’re jealous. While the screened porch is a simplistic design, it is done very well and will most definitely provide a fantastic space for hosting friends and family year-round. The complementary interior sectional and stone fireplace makes those surrounding backyard views pop!

Second Place: Kayco Screens LLC, GA

This screened porch has a fantastic balance of aesthetics and functionality. While the house and connecting screened porch are not inherently unique designs, the project is done so phenomenally we had to place it as our second favorite install of the season. If there was any debate, just look at the crisp landscape out of the second story!

Favorite Install of Winter 2022: Framing Iowa LLC, IA

This screened porch has it all and we’re obsessed! The unique house shape and design are what first draws you in, and then the screened porch absolutely wows you. It allows those gleaming bright views with absolutely no obstruction. From aesthetics to functionality to uniqueness, this installation was our favorite of the season.
